The city of Anoka is known as the Halloween Capital of the World, so you know there is going to be some epic celebrations here.  The Halloween Celebration lasts from October 6th – October 27th and you will find races, parades, pumpkin carving, house decorating contests, a medallion hunt and so much more!

If you happen to be a runner, then this is the perfect Halloween event for you. The 10th Annual Halloween Fearless 5K is a fun event for all. Join in and run (or walk) in the costume of your choice then finish up at the Claddaugh Irish Pub to relax and make new friends.

If you are looking for some family-friendly Halloween fun, then check out the Eastman Nature Center in the Elm Creek Park Reserve on October 27th for a spook-tacular time! There will be games and a pumpkin scavenger hunt as well as some fun with animal friends. The kids will love seeing animals in costumes and getting a chance to meet a real live snake!
